Behind every beautiful day at South Wind Ranch is a dedicated team working diligently to make every moment seamless. Our experienced coordinators have spent years in the wedding industry, and they truly love what they do. Just as important to us as creating unforgettable celebrations is giving back - especially through our intern program.
Over the years, South Wind Ranch has welcomed many incredible interns, each bringing energy, creativity, and passion through our doors. As Ron shares, “It’s been an absolute joy having a variety of Furman interns over the years. Each one has brought a special talent that we have grown to appreciate. We’ve stayed in touch with every one of them—they still visit and stop by.”
Today, we are lucky to have two interns who work hard every day while learning the ins and outs of the wedding and events world.
Ansley is the newest addition to our team! She has been interning with us since December and is a sophomore at Furman University. Ansley is learning all about event coordination. Her days often involve coming in early on wedding days to ensure everything is set up perfectly and staying late to clean up so our couples don’t have to worry about a thing.
Our other intern is me! My name is Sara Beth, and I am the face behind all of our blog posts. I have been interning at South Wind Ranch since August 2025. I work closely with our amazing head coordinator, Ashley Black, to craft posts that feature our lovely brides on our social media! I also work to keep our website up to date and send out all those lovely newsletters that flood everyone’s inbox. One of my favorite parts of this internship has been working weddings and watching months of planning come to life on such a meaningful day for our couples.
Most workplaces call themselves a family, but that description truly fits South Wind Ranch. Interns are more than extra hands—they are a valued part of our team. As Ron puts it, “Interns are an integral part of the Ranch. We have loved watching them grow and change and use those skills in their careers and lives far beyond South Wind.”
